Editorial standards

Useful guidance must survive a product-truth check.

Yoopbook’s guides help a buyer make a real decision. Search demand can suggest a question; it cannot supply the answer. Every public claim must be owned by a product release, a current operational source, first-party evidence or a clearly named external source.

What the editorial team owns

The editorial team owns the clarity, structure, sourcing, review date and correction history of buyer guidance. It does not invent a product release, manufacturing specification, age range, shipping promise, privacy rule or customer experience that has not been approved by the team responsible for that fact.

Source hierarchy

A released product record and the current checkout own price, availability, cast, photographs required and order options. The Yoopbook handbook owns the intended product contract. First-party testing and documented operations can support original guidance. External claims must point to an identifiable primary or authoritative source.

Authors and reviewers

A page identifies its real authoring organisation or named contributor. Specialist review is shown only when an identifiable reviewer has completed the stated scope. A team label is not presented as a fictional person, and a generic product-team credit is not used as expert evidence.

Age and developmental guidance

Age is treated as one input alongside reading mode, story structure and the intended shared-reading moment. Title-specific suitability is published only after the manuscript, layout and physical edition have been reviewed for that claim. Adjacent exact-age pages are not produced by changing a number in otherwise identical copy.

Synthetic media and AI assistance

Representative or synthetic visual examples are labelled. They do not become evidence of a delivered product, a customer result or a released title. AI assistance may support research, drafting or visual development, but a human owner remains accountable for the published facts and final decision.

Commerce and conflicts

Yoopbook sells the products discussed on this site. Guides should therefore state decision criteria, limitations and alternatives honestly rather than pretending to be independent rankings. A commercial relationship, supplied product or incentive must be disclosed wherever it could affect a review or recommendation.

Corrections

Send the page URL, disputed statement and any supporting evidence to hello@yoopbook.com with the subject “Editorial correction”. Material factual errors should be corrected promptly, the review date updated and the owning source checked so the same error does not remain in metadata, schema, feeds or related pages.

Publication gate

A page must have one distinct buyer question, original decision value, an accountable owner, a substantive review date, truthful internal links, matching metadata and no unsupported product dependency. Pages that fail those checks remain draft, browse-only or out of the sitemap.
